Service Description

When your nervous system needs more than movement can offer. Stillness is yoga for your exhale - a practice of slowing down, softening, and finally letting go. This is deeply restorative practice designed for nervous systems stuck in overdrive. Through long-held, fully supported shapes, yoga nidra, and gentle sensory cues, your body is invited to release the holding it's been doing for far too long. There's no striving here. No performance. Just space - space to breathe, to feel, and to remember that rest isn't something you earn. What to Expect You'll be fully supported in restorative postures - bolsters, blankets, eye pillows. Each pose is held for several minutes, giving your nervous system time to truly downregulate. We may move through yoga nidra - guided meditation that induces deep rest. Candlelight, essential oils, quiet music or silence. Some people fall asleep (welcome). Some simply feel their body remember what calm feels like. Whatever happens is exactly right. This Is For You If: You can't remember the last time you truly relaxed. Your body holds chronic tension. You're exhausted but "too wired" to rest. You need deep nervous system support, not just stretching. You don't need to "do" anything in Stillness. You just need to allow yourself to be held. Within the quiet, you begin to sense your own strength again - the deep, rooted kind. Stillness is the pause that lets everything integrate. A reminder that softness is its own kind of strength. You are already whole. Strong enough to let go. Soft enough to rest. Please note: The studio is on the first floor and only accessible via stairs. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access at present, and all attendees must be able to independently ascend/descend the stairway.
