Slow Flow
An evening practice to unwind, soften, and settle. Beginner friendly.
Service Description
Slow Flow is an evening vinyasa practice designed to help you gently unwind from the day and settle back into your body. The pace is unhurried and intentional, with fewer transitions and longer-held postures that invite softness, awareness, and release. This is movement that supports down-regulation — helping the nervous system shift out of effort and into ease. Effort is present, but never forced. The emphasis is on listening rather than pushing. What to expect Classes move through slow, breath-led sequences that encourage stability, mobility, and a sense of grounded presence. Postures are held with time and care, allowing you to feel into the body rather than rush through it. Breath and movement remain closely linked, supporting steadiness and internal quiet. Options are offered throughout — whether you need a little more support or feel comfortable staying with the shape as it is. This is a practice that values quality of attention over quantity of movement. There is space for pauses, stillness, and integration, making Slow Flow particularly well suited to the end of a working day. This isn’t about collapsing at the end of the day — it’s about unwinding with awareness. This practice may be for you if… * you want to soften and settle after a busy or demanding day * you prefer slower pacing and longer-held postures * you’re looking for a calming practice that still feels embodied and intentional * you value clear guidance without pressure or performance Whether you’re newer to yoga or have an established practice, you’ll be supported to move in a way that feels appropriate for where your body and nervous system are that evening. How you’ll leave Calmer. More settled. At home in your body. Ready to rest — not wired, not depleted. Practical note on access Please note: the studio is located on the first floor and is accessed via stairs only. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access at present, and attendees must be able to independently ascend and descend the stairway.
