Introduction to Practice
One-Day Workshop
Available spots
Service Description
11am - 4pm · Saturday 17th January · Limited to 9 people · £60 This one-day workshop is an invitation to begin yoga as a practice — thoughtfully, steadily, and without pressure. Rather than trying to cover everything, we take time to explore what it means to practise yoga in this space: how movement, breath, and awareness work together, and how practice is built over time. The day is paced and unhurried, with space to move, pause, and ask questions. We’ll begin close to the ground, build gradually, and close with stillness and rest. There will be a one-hour lunch break in the middle of the day. Participants are invited to leave the studio and enjoy one of Bangor’s local cafés before returning for the afternoon session. Herbal tea will be offered on return. This workshop is suitable if you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, or simply want a calmer, more grounded way into practice. No experience or flexibility required — just a willingness to show up.
